You have to believe in the children

This is a speech given by a young boy. This is something that teachers who teach all ages need to hear.



I don't for a minute think this child wrote this speech on his own. I haven't found anything to make me believe otherwise. However, he is speaking to a room of 17,000 people. That's impressive as it is. But what really gets me is the message.

For you preschool teachers, imagine one of your students saying these same words to you. We have to believe in all the children, no matter what age or where they come from. This is a fabulously worded and given speech.

This is also a speech that would NEVER mean the same thing given by an adult. It just wouldn't have the same punch that it does with a child giving it. Well done!
