I just want to spark a few safety issues with you that I KNOW you haven’t considered.

If there was an earthquake or something while at the center, you got the children to safety, you needed to cut off electricity to the center, would you know WHERE to do it at?  Would you know HOW to do it?

If you smelled gas at your center, would you know WHERE to shut it off?  Would you know HOW to shut it off?

If your supervisor passed out in front of you, would you know who to call after dialing 911?

If you had a fire break out in the center, would you know where to go?  Would you know what to do?

Do you know where EVERY SINGLE first aid kit is in your center?

Do you know where to find emergency numbers?

Do you know where the pull stations are?  Do you know WHAT the pull stations are?  (they’re the handles you pull to set off the emergency alarms.)

What other emergency information do you know?
